This service respects your privacy to an extreme that is unmatched in this industry. We collect the bare minimum information about you, and only track usage so we can provide statistics for you and us.
We collect your email address, as we need it to forward emails to you. We also use your email address to send you service-related messages such as account verification, payment reminders and when we discard an incoming email due to a high level of inappropriate words.
We collect a username, although that can be any combination of letters and numbers, so long as it's unique within the system.
We collect a decentralized identifier (DID), which is an account identifier that your digital wallet provides. Based on the wallet used, it may be unique for this service, or it may the the Ethereum address used in the wallet. This identifier hashed (one-way encrypted), so the system cannot decrypt it.
We collect counts of emails that we forward or block. This information is summarized daily, so no correlation is possible.
When you login to the service website, we store two cookies, one to track your login session and one to control against cross-site request forgery attacks. No personal information is stored in these cookies.
Website and email server log files are deleted as soon as operationally possible.
